Before the rain

Two workers re-thatch a shelter with dried leaves on Praia do Céu, Marajó Island. Once predictable and narrated by the elders, the rain today is out of sync—sometimes arriving intensely and extremely, other times disappearing for long periods—becoming unpredictable due to climate change.
