Fishing with timb\u00f3 is an ancestral practice of the Khisetje people. There is an entire ritual involved in this fishing method. Before releasing the timb\u00f3 into the water, men first sing at the center of the village. In this photo, children are learning how to pound the timb\u00f3\u2014a cultural lesson in rituals and traditional practices.
