We are pleased to announce that the winning photographs from the contest will be exhibited at the Sixteenth Meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 16) to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), taking place from October 21 to November 1, 2024, in Cali, Colombia. This event serves as a key platform to address global challenges related to biodiversity and conservation, and the inclusion of these works highlights the importance of Indigenous voices in the fight against climate change.

The winning images will be available online at https://otca.org/concursofotografico weeks before COP 16, allowing a broader audience to appreciate the creative work of the photographers. During the event, the photographs will be showcased on a totem, which will also be utilized in future public events by the Euroclima program.

Winners from the categories of Artistic Photography and Documentary Photography have captured unique moments and perspectives on biodiversity conservation and the climate challenges we face. After COP 16, the images will remain available online until November 30, 2025, facilitating access for a global audience.
