Project Support to the Amazonian Social Agenda of ACTO

The Project began as a South-South Cooperation initiative between the Brazilian Government and ACTO in order to contribute to the incorporation of the social inclusion topic in the Amazonian Strategic Cooperation Agenda analyzing the socioeconomic development based on the needs of the people living in isolated zones in the region, specifically in border areas.

The project aimed to give a diagnose of the social policies profile in the eight Member Countries by conducting surveys of social technologies and mapping of public services in the areas of education, health, housing, household production, energy and communication, in addition to the documentation of people living in isolated areas, specifically in border areas.
