The stations, which have a Data Collection Platform (DCP) for rain, temperature and humidity, were donated to the Institute of Hydrology, Meteorology and Environmental Studies (IDEAM – Colombia), which will be part of its inventory to support the monitoring process of the Amazon basin. This initiative was supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia in collaboration with the Presidential Agency for International Cooperation of Colombia (APC).
