In this context, the PS/ACTO, with the approval of the Organization’s Member Countries, has obtained a technical assistance from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to deepen the topic of Integrated Water Resources Management in the Amazon Basin , through the realization of a consultancy for the “Development of a regional hydrological platform and a multisectoral Nexus model for the Amazon Basin”. This multisectoral systemic analysis will improve the knowledge about the interactions between the physical, economic, environmental, social and institutional dynamics, among others, that occur in the Amazon at different spatial and temporal scales, helping to strengthen public management in the countries of the Amazon Basin.

The estimated timeframe for the performance of such service is 24 months and the start of services is expected for the third quarter of 2020.
