As part of the official visit of the ACTO delegation to Peru, ACTO Secretary General, Alexandra Moreira, held a meeting with Foreign Minister César Landa, at the Torre Tagle Palace, with the aim of discussing and strengthening the joint agenda for the Amazon Region .
Moreira addressed the main issues on the work agenda and initiatives being developed to promote sustainable development in the region, with an inclusive approach to improve the quality of life of the Amazonian populations.
Foreign Minister Landa emphasized the importance of strengthening the joint agenda and operational work for the Amazon Region and positioning the actions at the national and regional level which the countries are developing in the Amazon territories. He also highlighted the importance of multisectoral management with a regional vision.
