The Permanent Secretariat of the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization (ACTO), under the Amazon Basin Project – SAP Implementation – Strategic Action Programe for the Integrated Management of Water Resources in the Amazon Basin, is hiring a consultant who will be responsible for strengthening the protection of vulnerable aquatic ecosystems and endangered species through the implementation of a Regional Environmental Monitoring Program and the development of guidelines for socio-environmental best practices. The consultant will provide services from their place of residence and coordinate activities with the Project Coordination Unit.
