Today, March 5, the coordinator of the Bioamazon Project, Mauro Ruffino and Advisor Marcio Dionisio, from PS/ACTO met with the Ambassador Miriam A. Mac Intosh, Permanent Secretary for Geopolitical Affairs and International Development Cooperation of Suriname.
On the occasion, the activities carried out during this week with several institutions were presented to identify opportunities and demands to be supported by the Bioamazon Project as well as for the Amazon Regional Observatory (ARO).
At the request of the PS/ACTO General Secretary, Alexandra Moreira, Mauro Ruffino, forwarded to the Ambassador information about a new initiative of PS/ACTO of a Mechanism of Amazon Regional Cooperation for the Dynamization of Innovations in Water, Sanitation and Solid Waste that will be formally send to the countries members so they can send their contributions.
