The Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization (ACTO) is hiring a Communication Specialist for the Project “Implementation of the Strategic Action Programme to ensure the Integrated and Sustainable Management of the Transboundary Water Resources of the Amazon River Basin Considering Climate Variability and Change” (Amazon Basin Project).
OBJECTIVE
The Communication Specialist will provide assistance in the design and implementation of the overall Communication and Positioning Strategies for the Amazon SAP Implementation Project in the institutional context of the ACTO and will support the implementation of the Financial Strategy and the Gender Action Plan, providing communication and visibility products and information tailored to the different audiences, among others. The Communication Specialist will play an active role in the development and maintenance of the project website and social media interfaces during the project, but will also support the Regional Project Coordinator and the WRM Specialist in the day-to-day management of the project in terms of internal communications and with key project stakeholders.
PLACE OF WORK
The consultant will provide consulting services in Brasilia, at ACTO’s offices. If the selected candidate is a Brazilian national, s/he would be hired under the CLT legislation.
