ACTO works to improve the quality of life and well-being of Amazonian populations by connecting public health, basic sanitation, and food security under a single regional agenda.

This axis adopts a holistic view of health, combining science, public policy, and the traditional knowledge of Indigenous Peoples and local communities.

The goal is to expand access to adequate health services, ensure healthy nutrition, and reduce socio-environmental risks that affect life in the Amazon.
