On August 12, 2019, the Course: Sampling and Preservation of water and Sediment Sample was started. This course will be held until next Friday, August 16, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The course is intended for technicians and professionals of the water resources and environment management organizations of Latin American countries and Portuguese-speaking countries that are directly involved in carrying out activities field, and involved in the planning of monitoring networks. The objective is to train the participants to properly apply techniques for sampling and preservation of water samples, aquatic organisms and sediments for physical-chemical and biological analysis. The main intention is also to provide conditions for participants to contribute to the planning of quality monitoring networks. The course will be conducted in Portuguese with simultaneous translation into Spanish and English.
