The Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization (ACTO) is hiring a Consulting Company / Institution specialized in hydrogeology or with extensive experience in conducting hydrogeological studies for the implementation of the National Intervention 2.4.4. Management of Water Resources in hinterland communities to protect the aquifer recharge zone in the Upper Takatu in Guyana, in the context of the Project “Implementation of the Strategic Action Programme to ensure the Integrated and Sustainable Management of the Transboundary Water Resources of the Amazon River Basin, considering Climate Variability and Change”.
Objective.
The activities of this intervention will focus on understanding groundwater supply and providing solutions for source protection to reduce contamination, as input for a regional program for rational use and protection of water.
