DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS EXTENDED TO FEBRUARY 23, 2024
Within the framework of the Amazon Basin Project, ACTO will contract an institution to generate an updated, online and interactive Atlas of Hydroclimatic Vulnerability of the Amazon Region, hosted on the Water Resources Module/Platform of the Amazon Regional Observatory (ARO), with present (updated) and future (forecast) information on an improved scale (1:500,000), which incorporates the bases of a drought monitor and criteria for developing indices of hydrological risk to climate change (spatial-temporal) in the municipalities with the highest vulnerability.
The selection process will be carried out as follows:
STAGES OF THE SELECTION PROCESS
- Reception of proposals: from January 23 to February 23, 2024
- Analysis and Rating: February 26 to March 4, 2024
- Probable date of the definition of the winner: March 11, 2024
- Expected date of disclosure of results and recruitment: March 14, 2024
TIME REFERENCE: : All time references in the announcement of the Call for Proposals, in the notice and during the interview session will respect the Brasilia-DF time zone.
PS/ACTO reserves the right to alter/adjust the deadlines for the analysis of proposals and final outcome at any time.
SELECTION COMMITTEE
In order to proceed with the stages of the selection process, the PS/ACTO will constitute a Selection Committee that will be composed of at least one executive officer and two officials from the institutional cadre, in accordance with the required profile.
QUALIFICATION CRITERIA FOR CONSULTING
All candidate qualification and qualification criteria are set out in the Terms of Reference of this Announcement.

TERM OF EXECUTION AND CONTRACTUAL TERM
The total duration of the services is 8 (eight) months, counted from the signing of the contract and the planned products must be delivered according to the Execution Schedule of the Terms of Reference.
SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS AND DEADLINES
Institutions interested in participating must send all the documents described in the Terms of Reference in digital format, in Spanish, English or Portuguese, through the institutional e-mail: selecao@otca.org, indicating the name of the Project and the reason for the Application [AMAZON BASIN PROJECT PAE – UPDATE OF THE ACTO HYDROCLIMATIC VULNERABILITY ATLAS].
The winner must send all supporting documents in digital format, signed. When requested, they must be submitted in original. Failure to submit or incomplete submission of documents will result in the disqualification of the candidate.
