ACTO opens the selection process for hiring a consultancy to support ACTO Member Countries in the implementation of CITES for tree species in the Amazon region, within the framework of the Bioamazon Project that will be open until May 13, 2021.

Funding source: Resources will be provided by the Regional project for the management, monitoring and control of wild fauna and flora species threatened by trade (Bioamazon Project) – Financial cooperation between Germany and ACTO through the German Development Bank – KfW, on behalf of the German Ministry of Economic Development and Cooperation (BMZ), within the scope of Component 1: National and regional information and knowledge management systems.

Presentation of documents: Interested parties should send all documentation according to ANNEX I of the Terms of Reference, including the Declaration of Commitment attached only to the email: selecao@otca.org until May 13, 2021 at 18:00 (Brasilia time). Please write in the subject of the email: BRAZIL – PS/ACTO: Bioamazon Project – CITES implementation tree species.

The activities and products to be delivered are available in the attached Terms of Reference.

The period of validity of the proposal must be 30 (thirty) calendar days from the date of receipt.

The offer will be evaluated and, if approved, the contracting of services will be carried out in a complete and exclusive way to a single consultant, with resources from the project mentioned above and cannot be destined for other individuals.

The payment will be made in U$D (US dollars), by bank transfer, upon prior issuance of an invoice, in the account indicated by the consultant. The payment method will be established in the Contract in the payment clause and will be made according to the delivery and approval of the products.
