Brasilia, February, 20, 2020.- The Peruvian ambassador to Brazil, Javier Yépez, assumed today the presidency of the Coordination Commission of the Amazon Cooperation Council (CCOOR), during its 110th ordinary meeting.
Yépez thanked the ambassador of Guyana to Brazil, George Wilfred Talbot, for his excellent work in past management. “His management for me is an inspiration and I hope to convey my commitment to maintain the level of action and conduct what Ambassador Talbot has given us. Certainly, with everyone’s support, we reiterate our commitment to the Permanent Secretariat to fulfill the objectives that we have set on the ACTO agenda, ” he concluded.
