Venezuela
El país está localizado en el extremo norte de América del Sur. Tiene cuatro regiones bien definidas: las tierras bajas de Maracaibo, al noroeste; las montañas del norte, que se extienden en amplio arco, rumbo al este-oeste de la frontera con Colombia, a lo largo del Mar del Caribe; las amplias planicies del Orinoco en la Venezuela central; y las tierras altas de la Guayana, al sudeste.
