ACTO issues call for consultancy services to support the Strategic Agenda for Amazon Cooperation

The Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization (ACTO) invites legal entities and individual consultants to participate in this public call for the procurement of a specialized consultancy, under the project: “Support for the Development and Implementation of the Strategic Agenda for Amazon Cooperation (AECA)”

Objective of the consultancy

The consultancy aims to provide specialized technical support for:

• The update of the Strategic Agenda for Amazon Cooperation (AECA)
• The preparation, facilitation, and systematization of a workshop of the South-South Cooperation Focal Points Group
• The development of a South-South and Triangular Cooperation Guide for the Amazon region
• The preparation of a proposal for operational guidelines or rules of procedure for the functioning of the Group

Who can apply?

Eligible applicants include:

• Legal entities or individual consultants
• With proven experience in:
  • international development cooperation
  • strategic planning
  • South-South and/or regional cooperation
  • work with international organizations or intergovernmental mechanisms

Late submissions will not be considered.

Evaluation of proposals

The evaluation process will be conducted in two stages:

1. Technical evaluation (70%)

• Understanding of the scope
• Methodology
• Work plan
• Experience of the applicant
• Proposed team

2. Financial evaluation (30%)

Only proposals scoring at least 70 points in the technical evaluation will proceed to the financial stage.

Implementation period

The contract duration will be up to:
