The Water Resources Situation Room team of ACTO and the National Water and Sanitation Agency (ANA for its acronym in Portuguese) held a technical meeting on January 23, in terms of the Amazonia Project (ACTO / ANA). ACTO presented the modules of water networks and resources, as well as the geomatic manual, which aims to normalize the maps of ACTO. The team of ANA presented the Drought Monitor with the intent to expand it to the Amazonian countries.
This monitor is a regular and periodic process of vigilance of the drought situation and can help improve the early warning and the forecast of droughts.
