The Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization (ACTO), through the Amazon Basin Project (ACTO/UNEP/GEF), has opened a recruitment process for a Technical Assistant Consultant to support the Secretariat of the Amazon Network of Water Authorities (ANWA) and water resources-related activities.
The consultancy aims to provide technical and administrative support to ACTO’s Environmental Coordination Unit and the ANWA Secretariat in implementing the Belém Mandates related to water resources, as well as in carrying out the ANWA Work Plan 2026–2028.
The consultancy will be based in Brasília, Brazil, with availability to participate in in-person and virtual meetings and to undertake travel as required by ACTO, subject to budget availability.
Applications will be accepted until July 31, 2026.
