The Permanent Secretariat of the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization (PS/ACTO) is accepting applications for the recruitment of a Technical Specialist in Project and Program Information Management, who will join the Technical Support Unit (TSU) to strengthen the strategic management of information and knowledge related to the Organization’s portfolio of projects and programs.
The selected professional will support the organization, systematization, analysis, and dissemination of information generated by ACTO’s projects and programs. The position aims to strengthen coordination across initiatives, identify best practices and lessons learned, produce analytical information for decision-making, and contribute to the planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and overall management of the Organization’s project portfolio.
Among the main responsibilities are:
- Manage and maintain digital repositories, databases, and information systems related to the project and program portfolio.
- Organize, systematize, and analyze technical information produced by projects and programs.
- Identify synergies, best practices, lessons learned, and opportunities for improving the project portfolio.
- Prepare analytical reports, management dashboards, technical notes, and other decision-support products.
- Support project formulation, monitoring, evaluation, auditing, and accountability processes.
- Contribute to the dissemination of project results by providing technical inputs for institutional reports, publications, and presentations.
Duty Station
The position is based at the Permanent Secretariat of ACTO in Brasília, Federal District, Brazil, and may require national and international travel.
