The Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization – ACTO is recruiting a consultant Senior Specialist in Water Resources Monitoring for the Amazon Basin Project – Implementation of the Strategic Action Programme (ACTO/UNEP/GEF).
OBJECTIVE
Within the framework of the Amazon Regional Observatory (ORA), consolidate an Integrated Regional Information Platform on IWRM in the Amazon Basin, as well as its different operational, compatible and articulated Regional Water Resources Monitoring Networks, with agreed operation protocols throughout the basin, allowing ACTO Member Countries to have available solid regional data for decision making in a context of integrated environmental monitoring at the basin level, based on indicators from relevant international conventions and agreements.
