This updated edition compiles key documents and regulations of the bodies of the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization, until the year 2012. It aims to be a tool for consultation and guidance to governments, public andprivate institutions, researchers and the general public committed to the sustainable development of the Amazon Region.
The seventh edition brings the text of the Treaty, the Protocol of Amendment, Headquarters Agreement, statementsof Presidents meetings, as well, records, statements and resolutions of the eleven meetings of Foreign Ministersheld until 2012. It also presents the proceedings and resolutions of meetings of the Amazon Cooperation Council, from its twelfth meeting.
